Hi MaxI followed the process when rooting my N950F/DS.First time I did it, I didn’t use no use the fix but only followed the video. It gave me only official released binaries are allowed to be flashed after trying to install magist and rebooting the phone so I put back stock firmware. After 7 days, I followed everything and did the fix after flashing anti And everything was fine. When I started the phone, magisk only showed the top line and uninstall. When I rebooted by device, it gave me only official released binaries are allowed to be flashed, AGAIN! Now I’m wondering if it was the security patch for July or something else.
Hi,Followed the tutorial step by step and tried to root my Galaxy Note 8 running Android 8.0.0. Everything went well till the end. Run Magisk and it says Magisk is installed. Downloaded Titanium Backup app and it showed Superuser request window. So I guess my phone is rooted.
Then I restored my phone data using Smart Switch. Now when I open Magisk, it says Magisk is not installed. Downloaded 4 root checking apps. 3 of them say “Root access not properly installed” while one sometimes says:Phone rooted” and sometimes “Not rooted”Do you think the restoration of data thru Smart switch may be causing this? Thanks for your help.
